Usually right on cue, Nylon’s Japanese cover is an indicator of the hair trends to come. The lived-in texture with undulations ranging from soft ‘C’ shapes to more curvaceous, strong ‘S’ shapes tells us that tousle and flow is very much go. The bronzy brown top that switches to a brighter golden tone tells us that dark to light colors can still be done (though subtle is usually better than stark). And the indiscriminate, imperfect braid tells us there’s a lot of scope for freedom and individuality in the beatnik style. Another great thing about wearing a simple braid: When you take it out, you’ll have great texture to play with.

A layered cut, the different lengths dance between the eye line and the shoulders, creating a gorgeous face-frame. The side-swept bangs accentuate strong cheekbones  to compete a natural yet sensual style.
