Hollywood darling Natalie Portman, known for her gorgeous brunette ‘do, recently changed her hair color to blonde. Instead of an all overblonde, Natalie’s highlights and lowlights give her color some depth, while honey tones frame her face. The multi-toned color givesNatalie a youthful and fresh appearance. We loved her signature chestnut color but this new flaxen look absolutely stunning on the leading lady. What do you think of Natalie’s new hue?

This cut could be styled into a pompadour with pomade, scrunched into loose waves with curl enhancer, or worn messy and voluminous with texture paste. At last night’s Emmy’s, Julianne Hough danced into the limelight with a fantastic finger-wave, inspired by the flappers of the 1920s. Polished and elegant, this asymmetrical, curly ‘do is a great way to add visual interest to your hairstyle, while maintaining a special occasion, off the face look. Chin-length styles are perfect to draw attention to cheekbones and chin, lips and eyes.

This lustrous peachy tone is a mix of dusky pink, soft copper, and vanilla blonde. The lightest colors circle around the crown, creating fullness and emphasizing the movement of the cut. Underneath, the deeper rosé tones give a vermillion shadow reminiscent of Peter Paul Reubens’s trademark red-contouring. Like a renaissance painting, this canvas achieves its luminescence by overlapping many transparent layers of color.Click through the steps below for instructions to achieving this look.

Our favorite look was the maxi dress and cascading curls combination that some of our favorite starlets wore. Gretchen Mol and Claire Danes chose an elegant deep side part while Heidi Klum and Christina Hendricks opted for off center parts.
