Flouncy pattered blouse and metallic silver skirt: Zimmerman is all about the contrast between the classic and the cool this fashion week. An ultra feminine collection, it was accented with simple off the face hairstyles that also combined quintessential style with modern flair. BCBGMAXAZRIA - Runway RTW - Spring 2014 - New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week’s first major show, BCBG Max Azria, set the scene for the new season with an artfully juxtaposed runway presentation. The hairstyles offered a similar design aesthetic. Center-parted styles were straight at the root, and then tumbled into textured beach waves for a perfect blend of two styles in one. Kim-K-goes-blonde

New mom, Kim Kardashian has given birth to another look. Her makeover puts her sultry raven strands in the shade in favor of lighter, brighter locks. A new hair color is a great way to give yourself that feeling of renewal, so it’s no surprise Kim went from the maternity table to the salon. Being a more mid-level blonde, rather than all-out bombshell, the color actually fits well with Kim’s mysterious, European complexion. The uplifting feeling of flaxen can also be yours; for our tips on getting a similar shade, click style notes.
