The blonde suits her eye color and complexion, the center-part is beautifying, and the smooth, flyaway-free strands hang perfectly, with an inward swoop on the ends adding to the appeal of the face-frame. Red hair has fascinated and mystified us for centuries. Aristotle thought the color signified poor moral character. In the middle ages it was thought to signify witchcraft. Lilith, the original wife of Adam, had crimson hair, as did Elizabeth I. Some historians believe Cleopatra had red hair, and some versions of Arthurian legend claim king Arthur had copper strands as well. Whether demonized or revered, throughout history and legend, red hair has been associated with power and magic. Today the color is becoming increasingly rare with only 1-2% of the world’s population exhibiting this characteristic. Learn more fun fact about red hair in the style notes. –– Laura Martin
