hairshow

This hairstyle was created for a recent ARROJO hair show. A razor-cut bob with extra length deliberately left around the face-frame, the style features tapered edges, wispy bangs, and interior texture working together to create a youthful and beautiful style. This look is a great example of vanguard contemporary cuts: a geometric shape is put into place to create structure, while the straightedge blade is used to soften and loosen the the inside of the cut, adding weightlessness, modern swing and movement. model off duty

This week marks the beginning of the Fall 2014 Couture presentations in Paris, which means beautiful and elaborate gowns, celebrities, models, and our most favorite model-off-duty-hair. What’s not to love about the disheveled undone beauty seen on models between shows? Epitomizing that lived-in messy-chic vibe, their hair always seems to fall perfectly. And while we may not be getting our hands on a ten-thousand dollar dress any time soon, the effortlessly textured tresses of a model-of-duty is somewhat easier to snag. jade

Although many people choose to lighten their hair for the summer, in the warmer months I often find myself attracted to darker shades. A light tan gives my normally pale skin just enough pigment to stand up to rich hues without looking washed out. This deep verdigris is a lovely choice for summer: reflective, verdant and jewel-like.
