jean-paul-gaultier-2014-fall-winter-show43

If Jean Paul Gaultier is anything to go by, it’s time to practice vampire-inspired pompadours. The world’s top designers are currently wallowing in their brilliance at the Fall-Winter Couture shows in Europe and the eccentric French modiste has taken a ghoulish turn for the new season. From lacy Victorian numbers to body-con leather to jumpsuits, the dark and moody collection suggests women will be empowered, in control, and full of sexual allure in the fall season. The hair, meanwhile, is an avant-garde tour de force. See more images from the show in the style notes.
