The Gucci Resort 2016 runway gave us a chance to revive our passion for pastels. Earlier in the week, we showed how Gucci and other headstrong brands have been opting for models who have joined the pastel party. I found Marga Esquivel’s –– who modeled for Gucci Resort –– grey hair to be particularly striking. Reminiscent of granite and slate, the silvery hue offers a dimensional, monochromatic, and unique way to adopt a vanguard trend. Dressing up cropped cuts can be challenging. Long hair solutions—curls, updo, bouncy blow-outs—simply aren’t possible.
