Kirsten Dunst is doing a lot of posing. Her feature cover stories for the September issues of Town and Country and Gotham present the Hollywood beauty in an array of sultry shots, reminding of her elegant beauty. In the pictured images, we love seeing her hairstyle done in two different ways, one polished and classy and chic; the other featuring sexy, come-hither waves dancing around her beautiful face-frame. It shows how one can style a ‘do in different ways. Learn these two looks for mid-length locks in the notes.

beautiful girl cuts her hair with scissors

Guess what? I cut my hair myself, at home, without anyone’s help. I hate to get my hair cut. No matter what I think is an inch, a hairstylist always sees it as more and I leave with hair shorter than I intended. (I am a hairstylist myself so I am normally friends with the person cutting my hair and this still happens!) So, I occasionally cut my own hair. I never go for a makeover or big change haircut and I always follow a few basic rules. Click the notes for the dos and don’ts of cutting your own hair. –– Kelly Rowe

In the summer, bangs can be frustrating. They get sweaty, frizzy, and flyaway. But as the weather cools, adding some fringe is a fun and easy way to update your look. Keep your bangs short and piecey and you’ll get the face framing benefits without hair in your eyes. Learn more about the advantages of this particular fringe in the notes. –– Laura Martin
