gray 1

In the last few seasons everyone from Carmen Dell’Orefice to Nicole Richie has been spotted with gray tendrils, natural or otherwise. The look has become so vogue the hashtag #grannyhair now exists on Instagram with almost 50k posts. (check it out for more silvery inspiration). While some say that the “gray hair don’t care” trend is only for celebrities, I say if you like it go for it. Either way this look definitely helps women of all ages embrace their gray, and being a cool individual is always a great trend. The coats of young deer are a blend of caramel, russet, and taupe, speckled with ivory. It’s a lovely palette to translate to strands. When blended in swirls and ribbons on long tresses the combination of creamy blonde, strawberry and dark gold makes for a soft, woodsy hue that leaves hair looking thick and lush. half up do

Half-up styles are miracle workers that can conceal grown out bangs, hide greasy roots, and transform any bad hair day into a good one all while showing off your length. They perfectly blend the control and polish of an updo with the softness and femininity of loose, flowing strands. Half-up styles can be classic or modern, sleek or tousled. Find the steps to three versatile variations in the style notes. –– Laura Martin
