Award show season is a good indicator of which trends are making the leap from from runway to reality and which ones have gotten lost along the way. Celebrities are a step closer to the general population than runway models, and looks that fail on them rarely make it to the street. The red carpet at the recent Golden Globes was rather understated in its elegance: high necklines, classic makeup and low-key hairstyles. While some of the hair seemed a bit too relaxed, the faux bobs on Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and Amber Heard were stunning, but not the least bit fussy.
