rose gold

Few fashion shades stay in vogue after more than a few seasons, but rose gold has proven traction; it’s not going anywhere. In the summer this pinky, peachy, blonde paired beautifully with tan skin and boho beach wear, but it works just as well with dark wool suits and faded complexions. For the fall, I’m loving a slightly deeper version of the shade reminiscent of a glass of sherry. Click the style notes for a fresh new formulation and tips on wearing this fashionable hue.

Step: For those that already have a rose gold base add a glaze of slightly deeper cooler pink for the fall. A blend of Goldwell 7RR and 7PK will give a soft yet vibrant cast to hair.

Step: For blondes looking to transition into this hue for the season try a blend of Goldwell 10BB with 7PK for a softer, sheerer variation.

Step: For brunettes this hue makes a lovely accent. Add it in highlights or paint it through ends. Brunette shades lift with warmth, so add a bit of Goldwell P mix to the formula to prevent brassiness.
