Allison Williams’ style is classic but fashion-forward. She combines sleek silhouettes with intricate finishes and unusual fabrics, for an aesthetic that never seems to hit an off note. Her front row style during New York Fashion week exemplified these traits. A leather peplum skirt and metallic cropped sweater were topped with a loose side braid which softened the strong lines and unusual textures of her ensemble. A slight side part, shiny surface, and pulled apart texture gave her look the perfect dose of femininity and romance. Steal her style in a few simple steps. –– Laura Martin
Step: Spray a few pumps of healing oil onto hands and run through strands, focusing on ends first and working into roots. The product will add both sleekness and volume.
Step: Part hair slightly to one side and comb through, pulling strands over the shoulder on the same side as the part.
Step: Leaving some slack, begin braiding hair starting at the jawline and working down to the tips. Fold ends under and secure inside the braid with bobby pins. Finish the look with a mist of holding spray.
