Braid and ponytail combine to make a pretty style for any occasion. The crisscross base is a clever way to cover a rubber band and would be the perfect place to attach a romantic or whimsical accessory. This is a great way wear woven strands even if you don’t have the length for a plait. Learn how to create this entwined look in a few easy steps.
Step: Make a parting from just above the ears across the top of the head. Spray back section with primp working spray, comb into a low ponytail, and secure with a rubber band.
Step: Part the remaining hair as desired. Beginning at the bottom of the left side, pull a small section of hair over the ponytail and wrap the ends around to base and secure with bobby pins. Next, take an identical section from the right, crossing it over the first section and pinning.
Step: Continue taking sections from alternating sides, crossing hair at the base until you reach the parting on both sides and all hair has been secured. Mist with holding spray for support and shine.
