When we stumbled upon Polish blog Mary-Kate Fashion, we immediately noticed Mary-Kate’s adorable hairstyles. Our personal favorite is this voluminous bun with a peekaboo braid in the back. It combines a casual braid with a glam bun, so it would be perfect for a weekend brunch or a cocktail party. Follow along to replicate Mary-Kate’s chic look.
1. Brush hair with a flat brush, then flip head over so hair is hanging down.
2. With head still flipped, french braid hair starting at the base of your neck. Continue braiding until you have almost reached the top of the head.
3. Tie the braid with an elastic when you have reached the point where you want your bun. Then bring all the hair into a high ponytail and tie it with another elastic.
4. Wrap the hair around the base of the ponytail to create the bun. Pin in place and spray with holding spray.
