There is something of an ombre effect going on in the color…Look closely and see that it gets blonder and blonder the further down the hair shaft we go. The uber-blonde begins about halfway down, around the ear, and this creates a beautiful face frame. Nevertheless, the whole head is covered in a style-defining highlights with the variation in tone adding ripples of color everywhere.
Step: Towel-dry hair to damp. Apply Defrizz Serum. Start at the root, but focus most of the application to the mid-lengths and ends.
Step: Create a loose, imperfect center-part with a comb.
Step: Use Boar Bristle Round Brush and high heat to blowdry hair super smooth. Take manageable sections, wind onto brush, and blowdry roots to ends with the dryer following the root to tip path of the brush.
Step: Once done, if hair is still a little kinky, use straightening iron to smooth it out some more. Apply a little Thermal Protector first, then use Iron to press hair flat. Don’t stay on any one section for more than a few seconds –– if it’s still not straight, let it cool some and then go back to it.
Step: Place a few drops of Shine Spray along the hair’s top surface to fight flyaways and create sparkle.
