V is for Volume! Bewitching California songstress, Lana Del Rey, hit the Fall 2017 cover of V Magazine with BIG riding boots and even BIGGER hair. The equestrian themed shoot by Steven Klein flings us into autumn with dark brown hues & tweed riding jackets.
Known for her signature long brunette locks, she once again brings the volume. So how do we get Lana volume at home?
1. Rub volume foam into palms, working from root to tip through damp hair. Pro Tip: The more you use, the more you volumize!
2. Next, spray protective thickening lotion into damp hair before styling with hot tools. This thickens the hair shafts + protects against heat damage. For hair this big you better believe we’re doing a blow out!
3. Grab a round brush and a blow dryer— section your hair so it’s easier to manage, 3 sections in the front, 3 sections in the back. Blow your hair in a forward direction and wrap it around the brush to create volume & a little wave.
4.Finish your look with a few spritz of PrIMP Working Spray into your roots to create grip, texture and a bit more volume. Add a bit more PrIMP to the front section of your hair and tease to the optimal height for your ideal front poof. Secure it with bobby pins.
5. Shake and tousle the rest of your hair and secure with a bit of holding spray, and Voila Lana locks in a jiffy!
