toffee

Toffee is like caramel’s sophisticated cousin: sweet but also smoky, buttery, and crunchy. This toffee hue has a caramel base, but it’s twined with buttery highlights and smokey lowlights for a rich dimensional gold. The shade is especially striking when paired with blue eyes. Application: Divide head into four quadrants. Apply formula 1 to root area of all sections, feathering out the about 1 1/2” from scalp. Then, beginning in the nape, take slightly diagonal zigzag sections and alternate formulas 1,2 and 3, using a higher concentration of formula 2 than the other two shades. Isolate sections with foil or saran, applying colors in alternating panels throughout the head. Process each quadrant separately, rinsing and shampooing after 30 minutes.
