braid jewlery

Where I live in central Georgia it’s already hitting 90 most days, and it’s only going to get hotter. Braids are my go-to solution for looking put together in summer weather, and I’m always looking for new variations. Accenting twines with a bit of bling is a great way to take your braids to another level, and you don’t have to limit yourself to barrettes and bobby pins. Necklaces, earrings, and broaches make great braid embellishments. Learn more about dressed up entwines in the notes. –– Laura Martin

Step: Brush through clean dry hair to remove tangles and spray liberally with refresh for shine and manageability.

Step: Braid hair as desired, securing with bobby pins.

Step: Use a toothbrush to ruffle surface for a softer, slightly disheveled feeling. Mist with holding spray.

Step: Clip earrings or broaches to the twine, attaching through the center for security. If adding a necklace, carefully weave through completed twine or wrap around.
