vampire at night
Didn’t plan out a costume makeup look for the Halloween festivities tonight? No problem. In the notes, you’ll find simple guide for a versatile makeup application that will work for several last-minute costumes. –– Katie McBroom
Products you need:
  • Giella foundation (in one shade lighter than your skin tone)
  • Giella blotting powder
  • Giella eyeshadow in Stoned
  • Giella eyeshadow in Mushroom
  • Giella lipstick in 5th Avenue Red
  • Stage blood (optional)
Step 1: Apply the lighter foundation all over the skin on the face and blend down into the neck to avoid streaky lines.
Step 2: Set foundation with Giella blotting powder, dusting all over the face with a fluffy brush.
Step 3: Using an angled brush, use Stoned eyeshadow as a contouring powder and apply underneath the cheekbones to create the look of a gaunt face.
Step 4: Apply to Mushroom eyeshadow all over the eyelid and underneath the eye to create depth and enhance the ghastly appearance.
Step 5: To boost the effect, blend a little red lipstick around the eyes as well. Add the same lipstick to the lips if desired.
This application will work as the base for a smoky witch, sexy vampire, or scary zombie. Just adjust the embellishments and switch up the final touches based on what look you’re going for. For a witchy look, finish the application with a darker lip. If you’d like to be a vampire, just add fake teeth and a few drops of stage blood around the corners of your mouth. If you want to go a little scarier, apply stage blood all over your mouth, chin, and down your neck to create the look of a zombie. Happy Halloween!
