Step: This is such an attractive style because of the multi-dimensional variation in tone, which creates shimmering ripples of color. The subtle lighter pieces also help to spotlight and enhance the texture of the cut.

Step: For a similar look, ask your colorist for a rich and lustrous mid-level brunette single-process. This should be combined with hand-painted highlights that add lightness and variation of tone around the face-frame.

Step: For bouncy, volumized textures, apply volume foam and styling whip. Blowdry with large round brush to create lift and fullness.

Step: Finish with dry shampoo to add gritty texture and lots of volume.
