Tonight is the night we have all been waiting for, the premiere of the remake of Disney’s tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast. Our 90’s nostalgia is at an all-time high seeing the British bombshell, Emma Watson, play the smart, strong and sophisticated princess Belle.

If Belle isn’t already you’re favorite Disney princess because of her book-loving, non-conforming, and selfless nature- just take a look at her flawless waves and you will surely be converted.

With that being said, you will no doubt want to channel your inner Belle and her trendy waves after watching Beauty and the Beast in theaters this weekend.

Here’s what you’ll need to recreate the look:

Step 1: Cocktail the volume foam and the styling whip and work through hair from roots to ends in damp hair. Foam adds body and bounce; whip creates luster and shine.

Step 2: Blow-dry with hands. Dry from roots to ends, and push hair around –– off the root, up and down, round and round –– to encourage natural texture.

Step 3: Once dry, starting using the curling wand about halfway down the hair shaft, leaving about an inch of hair from the bottom off of the curler- to create the loosened wave effect.

Step 4: Once curled brush out the curls into cascading ‘S’ shaped waves that tumble romantically down the neck and shoulders.

Step 5: Finish with a light coat of hairspray. You could also apply shine spray if extra shine is desired.
