blonde pastel

There are lots of ways to wear the pastel trend that don’t involve a full head of carnation pink, a la Nicole Richie. Pale silvery white blonde accented with hidden panels of pink or purple provides an understated version of the trend. This unique and subtle color is easy to wear. Get the formula and application tips in the style notes. –– Laura Martin

Application: Lighten hair to an even level 10 using Goldwell Oxycur Platin and a virgin or retouch application as appropriate. Shampoo, condition and towel dry. Create a zigzagged perimeter section with points that reach up to the parietal ridge. Clip hair above this section away. Apply formula 1 to perimeter and process for 20 minutes. Rinse. Apply formula 2 to entire head, process 5-10 minutes and rinse again.

Formula: (on pre-lightened level 10)

1: Goldwell Colorance 2 parts 10V + 1 part 7PK with 2% Lotion

2: Goldwell Colorance 2 parts 10P + 1 part 10BS with 2% Lotion
