By now the 70s have been emulated in fashion and beauty for longer than the decade actually spanned––and yet we keep wanting more. At the Coach Spring 2015 collection, the decade was very much alive with updates on flared silhouettes and furry pastel coats. And to complement the cool girl attitude of the decade, the models wore low side parts swiped across the forehead. The vintage-inspired hovered softly over one eye and were slightly boyish yet still feminine. Care to try on this flowy feeling look? Step One: Apply four pumps of volume foam to damp hair at the crown and blow dry using a round brush.
Step Two: Once complete, use your fingers to create a low, messy deep side part. No need to be super meticulous, this needs to look natural.
Step There: For added volume and fullness spray refinish all of hair. Next, sweep the hair across the forehead, covering one eye, and tuck the remaining strands behind the ear. Allow a small portion of the hair to fall loosely in front of the ear for a slightly messy touch.
Step Four: Finish your retro look with a few light pulses of primp.
