When it comes to summer hairstyles, I admit it I’m pretty lazy. But being in the business of aesthetics, I have to at least look like I’ve put in some time into my style. A pretty do that looks complicated but really isn’t? That’s what I want in my arsenal! And there is no style more elegant than a classic twist. However, I’m not a classic type of gal so I’d rather avoid anything that looks too fussy or dated. Lucky for me and my fellow lazy ladies, there is a great and effortless option that combines a loose summery aesthetic, two trending accessories, and gives you an instantaneously look. Step One: Start with second day hair and spray in refinish to give tendrils added texture and grip.
Step Two: Pull all your hair together in hands and begin to twist downward, grabbing more hair as you work down to the nape. Leave any bumps or escaped locks alone, as you want this look to be messy.
Step Three: Once you have all your hair in a twist, secure with two barrettes by stacking them one right under the other to hold hair in place.
Step Four: Gently pull out face-framing tendrils and finish your look with a few pulses of primp.
