Everyone who knows me can attest that I’m not into uber girly style, but sometimes even I like to go for a nice and lady-like bow. Especially when it’s crafted out of my own hair! That’s right, bows aren’t just for gifts and accents this season. Why not rock an impressive hair bow to your next holiday party or date? It looks difficult to create but it’s actually quite an easy process. All you need is a clear elastic, pins and some hairspray. Ready to be wear this girly look? Step One: Divide hair in two sections. Then gather the top section of hair into a looped bun, making sure to leave a section of your ends out. (This end part will be used to wrap around your bow). Secure with a clear elastic.
Step Two: Divide the bun into two equal sections to create the sides of the bow. Begin to play with the hair and form it into a bow-like shape. Using hair pins, then secure the bow to lie flat against your head. For the best results, use about four pins total to secure all the edges.
Step Three: Once the sides of your bow lay the way you desire, loop your left out ends over the middle of the bow and pin it on top of your heads.
Step Four: Finish your look by by taming any flyways and setting it with lots of firm hold hairspray. If you like you can wand your other section of hair to create extra wave and movement.
