Hooray for Sunday morning beauty routines! They should involve little more than sleeping in, rolling out of bed and getting your hair up and out of the way so you can enjoy brunch and a spa day. There’s seriously nothing more reliable and chic than a great textured bun, for Sunday mornings or even holiday parties. I see them on street style stars all the time and they can be worn in a casual or even polished way. And since the holiday vortex is just about to kick off, you need a great and easy look to keep in your last minute cocktail party or meet-the-parents brunch beauty arsenal. Step One: It’s best to start with last night’s blow out, but squeaky clean waves will also work. Begin by pulsing in refinish into hair and then rake through your tendrils with fingers.

Step Two: Gather hair into a ponytail. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect. This look works best when it’s not too overdone. Backcomb the end of your ponytail to create some more messy texture.

Step Three: Begin to wrap the length of your ponytail around the base of your hair and then secure with pins. Once you have completed, shape the bun into your desired position and do a finishing pulse with primp.
