I love relaxed and undone waves, especially on shorter lengths. I think it looks incredibly chic and even a tad rebellious. It continues to be a popular and trending look and there are many ways to achieve it, even if you aren’t blessed with natural waves. All you need is a few tools and techniques and you’ll have perfectly imperfect tendrils in no time. To get started, click through to style notes. –– Michelle Rotbart
Step One: Spray hair with protective thickening lotion and curl using your wand. Make sure you wave away from your face. Wave your whole head.
Step Two: Next, reach for your smoothing iron and gently tap each wave from about an inch away from your roots and all the way at the ends. Leave the middle out. This tapping will soften the wave and flatten it out just the right amount to achieve your look. Just make sure to not over do it.
Step Three: Once you have completed this to all your waves, grab a little bit of shine luxe oil and hair creme and cocktail them in your palms, until blended. Then rub the combo in at the roots and work your way down to your ends. Finish with a few pulses of primp.
