Fast and easy, impromptu and inventive twists are quickly catching up to braids as the of-the-moment trend for styling. This look transitions a long brow-dusting sweep into a twirled side bun; the shape is alluring and a bit mysterious, shading the eyes with a fedora-inspired brim. The style is both easy to create and incredibly secure; making it perfect for blustery fall days, and an ideal match for trench coats. Get this enigmatic look in a few simple steps.
Step: Create a deep side part above the corner of the brow. Comb hair over to the opposite side using primp working spray to control flyaways. Divide the head in half over the crown from ear to ear. Secure lower section into a side ponytail.
Step: Take a strand of hair from the underside of the ponytail and wrap it around the base to hide rubber band. Secure with a bobby pin. Take another small section and twist until it begins to double back on itself. Place twist at the base of the pony and secure with bobby pins. Repeat with the remainder of the ponytail.
Step: Comb hair from the front into desired shape around the face and hold in your hand just above the ear, keeping hair close to the head, twist back from this point until ends are reached. Secure twist into ponytail, repeat on the opposite side and finish with holding spray.
