Learn how to create it in the style notes. –– Laura Martin
Step: Apply a nickel of hair creme or hair gel to roots and comb into a ponytail at the crown. Gel will give a wet-look finish and creme will provide a smooth, satiny look. Secure with a cloth-covered hair band.
Step: Separate 1/4 of the ponytail, apply a dab of hair creme, and braid. Wrap around the base, concealing the hair band, pinning into place with bobby pins.
Step: Apply a nickel of hair creme through the lengths of the ponytail and braid as desired using a three-strains, rope, or fishtail technique. Finish with a small band or decorative clip.
