New York Fashion Week kicked off this week with killer runway shows by the likes of Calvin Klein and Tory Burch and the highly-anticipated release of Rihanna’s beauty line. One instant headliner was Tom Ford’s show where Kendall Jenner & Gigi Hadid rocked a dramatic hair change. Tom Ford had all of his models pin their luscious locks into barely noticeable twists and texturized their crowns to create disheveled wispy pixies! And with that, the trend for bombshell boy cuts begins!

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, short hair is the future. The lob and the bob were this year’s trending cuts, but we’re now going even shorter. Pixies, buzz cuts, undercuts, and the like will be sweeping the sidewalks soon.

Ford’s stylist said, “That’s the point; we want to inspire you to actually cut all of your hair off.”

Unsure about making the chop? Try it at home with pins first.

Step: Put all your hair into a ponytail and twist it upwards toward the top of your head, using hairspray and bobby pins to keep the twist in place.

Step: Fan the ends of your ponytail forward over your head.  Side-part hair using inside arch of the eyebrow as a guide.
Step: Run Texture Paste through fingers while tousling hair to create disheveled wispy pieces. If more volume is needed, spritz with PrIMP Working Spray and backcomb the pieces a bit.
Step: Secure the look with a firm hold hairspray
Like what you see? Do the real thing! Make your pixie dreams come true!
