Headbands are a must in hot weather. They keep hair off your face, disguise sweaty bangs, and add style to ponytails and buns. This season there are lots of stylish options to chose from, adorned with jewels, blossoms, and bows. Click the style notes for four different ways to wear this fabulous summer accessory. –– Laura Martin
Boho: Get a relaxed, easy-going style by adding your headband horizontally over loose waves or sleek strands. An imperfect center part is a perfectly imperfect finishing touch.
Preppy: Style hair into loose, beachy waves and part neatly in the center with a comb. Slide headband in vertically, settling at the apex, pushing hair behind the ears.
Polished: Pull hair into a high bun or ponytail. Slide headband back a few inches from the front hairline to control flyaways and add interest around the face.
Romantic: Style hair in loose waves or curls and add headband, vertically, just at the front hairline, framing the face, tilting embellished area to the side.
