In the 90s, my favorite beauty product was a bottle of leave-in conditioner which I used to detangle my hair after washing it with cheap drugstore shampoo. My hair was waist-length back then, and my baby-fine texture looked greasy and limp if I used a rinse-out type conditioner. Since then, I’ve discovered better shampoos, and a number of light-weight conditioners that work effectively with my hair type. I forgot about leave-ins. It enhances movement. My fine limp hair has a slight wave, but it’s so soft that it usually collapses under its own weight as it dries. Cream whip keeps my texture in tact without adding stiffness or weight.

It adds control: This product says specifically that it doesn’t add hold, but in my experience, although it doesn’t addd weight or stiffness, it does add style memory. Cream whip keeps my hair from loosing its shape half way through the day and helps my blow-dry look smoother and more polished.

It restyles. Lots can happen to your hair over the course of a day, and cream whip is perfect for coaxing it back into its original shape. Simply scrunch in a handful and gently restyle. It’s light-weight enough to do this multiple times without adding weight.
