There is something clean and beautiful about a wide flat headband in a pale, earthy hue. It looks a little vintage, a little sporty, and a little spa-day. It feels controlled, but in a soft, feminine way. It’s a great way to give your favorite braid, updo, or cropped cut a new finish. It hides greasy roots, calms flyaways, and hides the fact that you need a retouch. Its pretty much the perfect solution to every hair problem. Step: Select a headband in a khaki hue that has the same undertones as your skin. If your skin is porcelain choose a cool beige, if it’s olive, select a sandy hue.
Step: Style hair as desired, but whatever look you choose, add some volume at the crown. This will provide a nice contrast to the sleekness created by the band.
Step: Place your wide headband right along the edge of the hairline, completely covering the edge of your hair. This will give you a clean, sporty look.
