cushnie To saythat we are just dying over the super modern and super sleek ponytail we spotted from the first row at the Cushnie et Ochs’ Spring 2015 Fashion Show (yes we were there) would be an understatement. The looks were inspired by Cleopatra and the hair is definitely fit for the last Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. And we loved it so much we just had to learn how to emulate it. Step One: Apply a thermal protector to hair and straighten from roots to ends. To get the sleekest hair possible, run a comb ahead of your straightener.

Step Two: Work in styling creme or hair gel to smooth flyways. Begin to pull length back with the use of a flat brush, carefully smoothing out any snags. Secure with an elastic.

Step Three: Use a small section of hair from underneath the pony to wrap around the elastic. Pin in place. Spray a fine tooth comb with primp and go over the crown. Spray pony with primp.

Step Four: Tie a thin elastic approximately two inches from the base of the tail. Next pin the elastic to the back of your head and secure with additional pins. Finish off with primp.

Step Five: Throw on your Cushnie et Ochs dress or something slinky and a bold lip.
