Okay, so it’s still cold outside but the days are starting to get longer and spring is starting to seem closer. If you’re anything like me that means you’re already finding creative ways to wear open-toed shoes and bronzer, anything to pretend spring is already here. Flowered headbands are a great way to incorporate spring beauty into your late-winter ensembles. Click the style notes for tips on how to wear the look. –– Laura Martin

Step: Pick a floral headband that pairs well with the overall volume of your hair. If you have curly hair or lots of volume, go for big, full blooms. If your hair is straight and fine try smaller, delicate flowers.

Step: Prep hair with wave mist or curl enhancer and twist while you dry to enhance natural texture. Organic shapes pair better with flowers than stick straight hair.

Step: Place the flowered headband close to the hairline for a flattering, bohemian feeling. If the fit is loose or it feels top-heavy, use bobby pins to anchor the sides.
