Rachel Weisz Retro Asymmetrical

BRUNETTE, CELEBRITY, COLOR, CUT, MEDIUM, NOTED, SEXY, STYLE

Rachel Weisz’s glamorous side-swept ‘do reminds us of the golden age of Hollywood pin-ups. Asymmetrical –– short on one side, long on the other –– styles are a great way to open and frame the features, while the romantic tousle and flow makes it sexy and romantic. The shiny dark chocolate brown hue is a great fit for her complexion, and remind us –– in the time of candy-coated dip-dyes –– that classic colors will always be fashionable.

Step: Towel-dry hair to damp. Use a comb to create a side-part. On the long side, pin or clip hair away –– no need to worry about that side for now.

Step: Apply defrizz serum to the short side of the part. Blowdry smooth with mid-size round brush. Make it as sleek as you can.

Step: Now use hair gel and hands to slick it down, then tuck behind ear.

Step: Release the long side and apply set & style spray and thermal protector.

Step: Use a mid-size curling iron to curl the whole of this side. Wrap manageable sections around iron, hold for ten seconds and release. Use pin-curl clips to pin in place. Repeat all over. Mist pinned curls with holding spray and allow to cool.

Step: Once cool, release. Now use paddle brush to brush out the curls, creating romantic, tumbling waves.
