blow out

Months ago the hair scrunchie reappeared from 1987 and made a new debut on the runway and the street, even starring in a funky video with model Cara Delevingne. This month, the claw clip, another throwback accessory circa 1990, reemerged and is helping style mavens keep their perfectly blown out waves. You can preserve your salon ‘do by simply wrapping hair in a bun and securing with the mini claw clips. It’s a perfect technique for those of you who take the time to curl your hair or love to blow-out, as it helps to preserve these looks for extra days. Step 1: Before going to sleep on day one of blown out hair, flip your head over and gather hair at the very top of your head.

Step 2: Gently twist and coil hair into a bun. Make sure it’s not too tight as you don’t want it to pull at your hair. Wrap ends under the bun.

Step 3: Use five mini claw clips and gently place them around the perimeter of the bun. Remember, gentle is the key word. You don’t want to create dents in your hair.

Step 4: In the AM, remove clips and shake hair out. Spray Refinish into strands and restyle
