blue hair

Rihanna is one of those people that is not afraid to change her hair dramatically. Her most recent adventure was a striking royal blue and I am loving it. I love blue hair almost as much as I love blonde hair, but it is a tough shade to pull off and not everyone can wear this dramatic tone of a blue. True Blue/Rihanna’s Shade

This is a great shade for girls with a lot of warmth in their skin. The striking hue will be great at popping off your skin. Remember, because it is so primary toned it is going to fade quick so you will need to keep up with having it re-glazed every few weeks.

Pale or Pastel Blue

This must be worn on neutral skin tones. If your skin is cool toned this shade is going to make your skin get a blue tinge resulting in a “frozen” appearance. If your skin is warm toned, this light blue shade has the chance of making you look sickly and sallow. Another thing to note is the beauty of this shade comes from the delicate quality of the color. If you have a deeper skin tone this is going to start looking like a pop shade and less like a pastel.

Navy

Navy is a super awesome shade to rock. It’s a mysterious shade that in natural light will look intensely blue and in low light will look black. The deeply saturated color is not for the faint at heart but will work with nearly all skin tones.
