Hollywood bombshell Scarlett Johansson is back in the glossies to promote her new movie, Ghost in the Shell. The clothes from Gucci’s Spring Collection offer a peek at upcoming fashions, yet it Scarlett’s new hairdo that captures our eye. Sporting a new blonde crop with a subtle undercut that gives the style freedom to swing and move, it freshens up Scarlett’s look, helping to expose her delicate neck and create an illusion of lift for her cheekbones. See more images and learn how to steal this look in the notes.
To Get the Cut: Ask your stylist for a crop with undercut and soft deconstruction of texture for a modern asymmetrical look with lots of tousle and flow. The undercut will help you move your hair around freely as you style.
To Get the Color: Ask your stylist for golden blonde tones. This is usually best created with highlights, but depending on your natural color and hair color history, a hi-lift blonde, tone or glaze may work equally well. Consult honestly with your colorist for best results.
To Style the Look: Towel dry hair to damp. Apply a handful of volume foam roots to ends to create foundation and lift. Work hair creme through the hair for a soft, slept-on, languid texture. Finish with a spritz of wave mist for playful body and texture.
