English rose, Sienna Miller, was a vision of bohemian beauty at last night’s BMW i3 launch event. Wearing a floral dress as pretty as a petal, her face-framing, center-parted, shoulder-hanging layer cut features a barely-there wave cascade that drifts down the sides of her cheekbones and chin, lips and eyes. Casual yet refined, this is a look that anyone with long layers can recreate. For our tips, click style notes.

Step: Towel-dry hair to damp. Cocktail styling whip ––– for luster and shine –– with volume foam –– for body and bounce –– and work through hair, roots to ends.

Step: Using hands to push hair around to encourage natural texture, blow-dry to about 80% dry.

Step: Create an imperfect center-part. Down each side, gather hair in tight little twists and blow-dry these twists up and down with the nozzle always pointing down. This will create soft, loose waves.

Step: If waves are not strong enough, mist with protective thickening lotion and use a curling iron or wand to create more defined ‘C’ shaped movement.

Step: Mist finished style with primp working spray for texture and grip.
