Bows are sexy, coquettish, the most alluring of accessories, as long as you wear them the right way, with a heavy dose of sixties influence. Take your inspiration from sex kitten Brigitte Bardot. Add some volume, make that lots of volume. Rough up your texture, think bedhead. Make sure your bow is big. Add a pink lip or a smokey eye. Break some hearts. Learn how in the style notes. –– Laura Martin
Step: Start with second day hair. Add refinish to roots and backbrush to add volume. Smooth top surface gently with a round paddle brush, leaving a slightly disheveled finish.
Step: Pin hair into a bouffant or french twist, or leave loose. Once style is complete, mist hands with healing oil and run over top surface to add glossiness and support texture. Then mist all over with holding spray.
Step: Add a headband with a statement bow, sliding it in a few inches back from hairline, situating the bow at center or side as desired. Pin the headband in place with a few bobby pins, attaching just behind the ears, for added security.
