Wonder Woman is instantly recognizable by her breastplate, bracelets, stars and stripes, and tiara headband. But we cannot forget her voluminous hair. The collage above features an image of Gal Gadot, who is set to play Wonder Woman in the Man of Steel sequel, set for release in 2016. I love the headband with all her hair falling over it, it typifies my image of Wonder Woman’s buxom locks –– the perfect mix of goddess, glam, and action hero star. If you have an event this weekend and want to look powerful, take a cue from Wonder Woman’s signature look. To learn how, click style notes. –– Kelly Rowe

Think volume, volume, volume. You can achieve this by blowing out long hair with protective thickening lotion. Use a large round brush to achieve maximum root lift with soft, cascading waves.

Once hair is dry, spray refinish dry shampoo into the root to get more lift. Backcomb the crown area of your head for height.

The crowning glory is the headband –– No Wonder Woman look is complete without it. Pick out a headband or ribbon in any color and place it over the hair instead of underneath; this will make the look more street chic and give it an air of bohemian glam. If you are feeling really powerful, go with a gold one and channel your inner Wonder Woman. Finish with healing oil for high shine.
