I’ve written about baby bangs before, but whenever I see an article about them it, it seems cautionary. Danger, warning, baby bangs! This drives me crazy because baby bangs are actually one of the easiest and most flattering of all the bangs. Baby bangs will make you look younger, they won’t split or get greasy like longer fringes, and they draw attention to your eyes, making them look bigger. I’m not saying they’re right for everyone, but I will say that if you like bangs and you’ve never tried them, you should. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Baby bangs are back for 2016, with enough variation to suit everyone’s style. Blunt, choppy, and soft wispy versions were all seen on the Spring/Summer 2016 runways with lengths ranging from less than an inch above the brow to just below the hairline. Short bangs open up and lengthen the face and make eyes look larger and wider. What’s not to love? This is a strikingly chic style by French actress, Marion Cotillard. An ultra-slimline bob-shape gives her hair head-hugging curvature, while the slanted and parted baby bangs are quirky and cute, and expose her wide, dazzling eyes. The French often seen to possess a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi, and the unusually slimline shape with blunt ends and elegant styling create what feels like a one-of-a-kind look, adding youthfulness and beauty by exposing her elfin features.
