As a gal who mostly had long hair all her life, I understand the notion of waking up too late and simply throwing your hair up into a mussy bun. Now that I have a bob haircut I have a harder time accomplishing this look. I beyond love my bob, but now it’s definitely harder to just throw my tendrils up and back. The good news is that it is still possible to rock a messy bun, or at least a great alternative of a half up messy topknot.  Just grab your refinish, pins, and hair ties and you’re good to go. Best part is that this look will take you less than five minutes to complete, so snooze away short-haired sisters! color block

This bob’s bright splashes of color nod to its sixties influence when bold color blocked dresses and geometric haircuts were the hallmarks of trendy mod fashion. Short round fringe, piecey internal texture and asymmetry give the style a contemporary twist. The bright pops of color are anchored in a natural dark blonde base for a bold, but wearable look. jackie o

Jackie Kennedy Onassis is famous for her fashion sense: tailored suits, bold colors, oversized shades. Her style was classic yet original and perfectly timeless. Her hairstyles have the same combination of innovation and endurance, from ethereal curls to a chic geometric bob. blunt cut

Blunt haircuts can be harder to wear than most people think, especially if you have very thick hair. Click the notes for tips to follow to be on the blunt hair trend. –– Kelly Rowe
