As we lie back for the last days of summer, fashion houses are dousing us in their fall/winter campaigns. There’s plenty tips one can take from the imagery, even if not quite ready for knits. Theory, for example, is lobbying for minimalistic essentials. More interesting, though, are the beauty looks that go with their campaign; they once again show a high fashion house portraying women and girls with waves and curls. We’ve seen a slew of marketing imagery showing the same looks, which means the summer trend for beachy waves and undone elegance is set to snowball into fall and winter. Time for an American Wave!
