breezy look

One of the most frustrating things about fashion is that there’s often a big gap between what you like and what looks good on you. I love cornrows and sleek wet-look styles and center parts, but these looks do not love me. I have a square jaw and a strong nose which do not pair well with boyish or severe styles. I can’t go too far the other way either. Put me in flouncy curls or a big poofy updo and I look like a drag queen. The most flattering hairstyles for strong features like mine are simple shapes with soft details like this breezy upswept ‘do. Learn to create it in the style notes. –– Laura Martin
