half up do

Half-up styles are miracle workers that can conceal grown out bangs, hide greasy roots, and transform any bad hair day into a good one all while showing off your length. They perfectly blend the control and polish of an updo with the softness and femininity of loose, flowing strands. Half-up styles can be classic or modern, sleek or tousled. Find the steps to three versatile variations in the style notes. –– Laura Martin

blonde milk and honey

Some of the best blondes are the ones that appear to be faded or weathered versions of deeper hues. This lovely shade has a touch of warm tea-leaf brown, but it’s diluted and softened with creamy white and honey blonde. The resulting shade is both rich and diluted, like a comforting cup of sweet, milky tea. The effect is achieved by blending two slightly different formulas, a very pale wheat color and a slightly richer oatmeal shade applied around the hairline and through the part. ionic

Available in brushes, blow dryers, hot tools, and even some products, ionic technology is a powerful hair styling aid that’s been on the market for a few years. Tools with this technology are grabbing a large share of the market and with good reason – good ionic tools are easier and quicker to use than their traditional counterparts, adding shine and strength, reducing static and frizz, and leaving hair feeling soft, smooth, and shiny.
