Gigi Hadid has become one of the world’s most iconic women, tapped whenever someone needs to sell a bikini, bra, or lipstick. She was even named model of the year. She is gorgeous, and blends sexy with just the right amount of insouciance. Naturally, at Style Noted Towers we are obsessed with her always perfect, golden blonde, California girl strands. This color immediately gives you memories of the steamy days of summer but it is surprisingly great for feeling all warmed up in the dead of winter too. Click the notes for how to get this perfectly blended golden hue in the cold season.

It’s almost the springtime, which means many of us want to chop off tendrils and start anew. If you are thinking of a cut, why not use some inspiration from this past fashion month? Based on what I saw, the statement cut is definitely back in. No more meh long locks, the coolest models and it girls are rocking a variety of look at me dos. Think soft pixies, crops, and shags. And of course texture is so in right now that any cut you choose will truly be you. Click through to style notes for more inspiration. Choose your favorite and bring it in to your stylist. You’ll be fresh for spring in no time. –– Michelle Rotbart Click for StyleNotes →

braids paris

We haven’t seen the last of braids. Last week, as the fashion shows wrapped, Céline showcased sleek single strand twines to flatter the woman on-the-go. Proving again that Phoebe Philo and team know what women want, braids popped up on Parisian street styles this week too. Models and fashion insiders like Binx Walton, Michelle Elie, and Elaine Welteroth were all spotted wearing voluminous and playful braids. If these ladies are any indication of what’s to come for spring, you better get your braiding game on. Earlier in the week we took at look at a dip-dyed Balmain pony; now, in a season in which the brand is bringing fierce femininity to everything it does, we take a look at their runway versions of the look. Designer Olivier Rousteing primped his girl army with matching, uniformly slick, high ponytails. The look was smooth, long and super straight, creating a sexy warrior style. You too could rock a power pony: Work styling whip into hair and pull into a ponytail. Then make sure to wrap a section of hair around the elastic to conceal it organically and fashionably. Top it all off with some attitude and you’re set. To see more inspirational looks from the Balmain collection, click through to style notes. –– Michelle Rotbart

Leave it to the ladies of Rodarte to create the stand out hair accessory of the season. The designers are known to have an affection for unique beauty adornments ( I’m still loving the previous season’s crystal eyeliner embellishments and eyebrow rings). But the Spring 2016 show as all focused on hair, more specifically decorative statement barrettes. The beauty team made sure to adorn models’ texturized strands with unique and unexpected placements creating a modern crown look. Styled with the collection’s intricate appliqués, lace, and sequins, the trinket’s made a big case for more is more. I’m sure we’ll be seeing them in H&M in two weeks.
