It’s that time of year again where we are attending holiday parties left and right, sometimes with little to no break between leaving work and getting to the celebrations. Having a mini arsenal of essentials in your bag can make the transition from work look to party look easy and have you looking holiday perfect in no time. –– Kelly Rowe

If you carry these few items with you at all times you will be ready for a party at anytime.

The Hair

Your hair may not be up to par after a long day at work but a couple little adjustments can make it look fabulous. Pull out your travel size refinish and hair crème. In sections spray refinish into root area and massage on scalp to provide a fresh and voluminous look. Warm a bit of hair crème in palms and use to smooth flyways and ends.

The Makeup

Add a silver sheen and a bold red lip and you will be in the holiday spirit in no time. I prefer to use an icy white eye shadow over a highlighting powder because for a winter look it has more of a gleam than anything else. Lightly dust brow bone and cheek bones with the icy shade then add the red lip. Don’t go for anything too deep, think fire engine red.

A pair of sparkly earrings will add a touch of glam without you having to do a lot.  Costume jewels are best because you won’t have to worry about losing them when you are drinking more cocktails than you can count and you can get ones that are big and eye catching without breaking the bank.
