Channel the 80s and exude playful confidence with an extra-high ponytail. Placing the tail on top of your head gives the style fun, flirty movement. Swing the ends forward, wear them to the side, or tease them out and let them tumble across your face. The high placement lifts features for a youthful, eye-catching appearance. Wear it at the gym for effortless sexiness and functionality, or pair it with a strapless dress for a look that’s both easy-going and glamorous. Step: Massage a handful of styling whip into roots, mist ends with healing oil, and wrap dry hair with a paddle brush. Sweep hair back and forth across the surface of the head, avoiding part lines and creating soft volume. Continue until all moisture is removed.

Step: Using a round paddle brush, gather hair into a handful at the apex of the head, brushing repeatedly to smooth and tighten roots. Secure with a cloth hair band.

Step: Pull a small section loose from the underside of the ponytail, mist with holding spray and wrap around the base of the tail to cover the hair band. Secure with a bobby pin or two. Mist roots with holding spray and smooth with a tissue to remove flyaways.

Step: Use a styling wand or iron to refine the tail’s texture, creating sleek gloss or waves. Mist completed look with holding spray.
